Magnetek Goes Live on Latest Version of Kronos® Workforce Central® Suite

Kronos® Incorporated today announced that Magnetek employees in Canada, the U.K., and the U.S. are live on version 6.1 of the Workforce Central® suite. Magnetek, a leading manufacturer of digital power and motion control systems, uses Kronos for time and attendance, absence management, and HR and payroll. Magnetek is one of nearly 200 customers to go live on the latest version of Workforce Central in the seven months since the product became available.

  • Magnetek replaced its Oracle HRIS system with a complete workforce management solution from Kronos. The company chose Kronos for its deep functionality and ease of use.
  • With Kronos, Magnetek’s 300 employees are able to use self-service capabilities to manage their time off and countless other HR functions. This enables employees to be more productive and spend less time on paperwork and more time fulfilling the roles they were hired for and contributing to the company’s bottom line.
  • Prior to using the Kronos HR solution, Magnetek manually handled its hiring process, which was time-consuming and inefficient.
