DLT Solutions Achieves Another Year of Strong Double-Digit Sales Growth

DLT's Leadership in Providing Technology Solutions to Public Sector Customers Evident From Investments, Partner Recognition and Awards

HERNDON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/22/10 -- DLT Solutions, a leading value-added reseller in government information technology (IT) software and services, today announced that it has surpassed $612 Million in revenue in 2009, which represents more than 21 percent growth year-over-year from more than $504 Million in sales in 2008.

While DLT did add a few new, notable vendor partners in 2009, the growth is largely from increased sales for its existing portfolio of best-of-breed technology partners. Several of the company's top vendor partners experienced more than 25 percent sales growth with DLT in 2009. Expanding the application of these partner solutions in the public sector reflects DLT's continued success in public-private partnerships using technology to enhance the business of government.

"DLT has been a large part of our strategy and success in the federal, state and local government and education markets," said Mark Johnson, senior vice president, Oracle Corporation Public Sector. "They have been our partner for well over a decade and their sales, marketing and technical investments in support of our business have paid off with year-over-year revenue growth."

In a market where many of its competitors are not value-added resellers but rather broad-based catalog distributors, contract advisory firms, and major OEM manufacturers, DLT continues to receive sales, marketing and growth awards from partners and the industry that set it apart. Several of DLT's noteworthy wins in 2009 recognized the company's technical support, consulting and professional services as part of the overall customer solution. DLT's Project Management Office, 24 x 7 DLT Service Center, and Enterprise Data Management engineering staff were major components of those efforts.

"By most accounts, the government information technology market has grown by no more than 4 percent in the past year," said Rick Marcotte, president and CEO of DLT Solutions. "So, our growth in excess of 20 percent year-over-year for the last three years indicates we are taking market share from our competitors, and more importantly, from our partners' competitors. We are making meaningful investments in technical and sales staff as well as placing bets on the right technologies and vendor partners."

The recent addition of new partners such as Google and Informatica, the infusion of additional funding from TZP Capital Partners, the expansion of the 24 x 7 DLT Service Center and the continued partnerships with industry greats like Autodesk, NetApp, Oracle, Quest Software, Red Hat, Solarwinds and Symantec, all provide DLT the necessary elements to provide measurable value to its customers and partners and continue its growth trend in 2010.
