The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), the world’s largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, has announced the new programs offered in the 2012 OAUG Educational Series, a virtual learning series of webinars offered exclusively to OAUG members.
The OAUG Educational Series was developed in 2011 to offer members timely and convenient learning opportunities on vital topics that are critical to their organizations and their own success. The OAUG continues this series into 2012 with the addition of new programs tailored to meet the needs of members.
The first program in the series, The Best of OAUG Connection Point® - EPM, recaps popular sessions presented by members of the EPM community during the OAUG Connection Point® — EPM/BI/Release 12.1 Upgrade conference in the fall of 2011. Eight sessions in this series focused on EPM will run Feb. 27 - Feb. 29. Industry recognized professionals will present on topics including Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Hyperion Performance Management Applications and Oracle Business Analytics.
The second program, The Oracle E-Business Suite - Protect Your Receivables with Credit and Collections, explores steps to decrease days sales outstanding and increase liquidity. Presented March 5, 7, and 9, three sessions facilitated by Robin Walker from Caliber Services reveal tips and best practices on credit management, advanced collections and deductions management.
“OAUG members consistently report that education is one of the primary reasons for being a member,” said Mark Clark, president of the OAUG. “The OAUG Educational Series is a prime example of how our organization continually serves its members by offering informative training events throughout the year to help them reap the most benefit from their Oracle investment.”
The OAUG Educational Series 2012 is free for OAUG members. For more information or to register, visit The OAUG Educational Series 2012 homepage.
