Trace Solutions chooses iomart's fully owned UK data centres
UK cloud computing and managed hosting provider iomart Hosting has enabled a leading property management software company to offer direct and affordable web access to its customers.
Trace Solutions is one of the leading providers of automated property management software systems to the UK commercial property market. Its software is used to manage iconic buildings such as City Tower in Manchester and Fort Dunlop in the Midlands.
Trace Solutions moved to iomart Hosting's CloudSure platform after experiencing problems around the technical support it received from a hosting provider that was using third party data centre facilities.
Graham Davies, Sales Director at Trace Solutions, said: "Our clients specifically requested a service that allows them to work from the web and we can now deliver this specialist service, which offers benefits to both large and small companies. It's flexible and secure and is supported 24/7. It's easy to deploy and requires no initial outlay which can be of significant benefit for companies in a difficult economic climate.
iomart Hosting offers us an extremely reliable service, supporting a specialist product which allows our clients to benefit from working directly on the web while keeping their costs low and reducing their level of risk."
Sarah Haran, managing director of iomart Hosting, added: "iomart Hosting owns and manages its data centre estate so there is no third party involvement. Our responsibility is directly to our customers to provide the high availability, security and technical support they need to be successful."
Trace Solutions is part of the Trace Group, a leading provider of business IT solutions.
iomart Hosting has been shortlisted for the titles of Datacentre Hosting Provider of the Year and Enterprise Datacentre Project of the Year at the 2012 DCS Awards. It is a subsidiary of AIM-listed iomart Group plc which has just been voted Scottish PLC of the Year.
