Under the direction of Marie C. O’Brien, vice president, federal sales operations, this team has grown in recent months to address the increased demand for efficient backup, deduplication, and replication for massive data volumes among customers in Federal defense, security, and governmental agencies.

Key recent appointments to Sepaton’s Federal team include:

James Webster, federal regional sales manager. Jim has a proven track record of highly successful business development in DOD, civilian and intelligence agencies. He is credited with working with numerous large government agencies to implement effective, cost-efficient IT solutions. He joins Sepaton from HP where he was sales team lead for a group focused on serving Federal civilian agencies. Previously, he held sales management roles with PCMallGov and Sun Microsystems (now part of Oracle Corporation). Jim is based in the Washington, D.C. area.

Jay Messenger, director, federal alliances and channel. Jay joins Sepaton from Veeam Software where, as director of the Federal sales team, he was responsible for leading a team of field sales, inside sales and systems engineers that sell Veeam's software products to the US Federal Government. He has held senior sales management positions with Oracle Corporation, VMware and Sun Microsystems. Jay is working closely with Sepaton business partners to provide our Federal customers with world-class data protection products and services. Jay is based in Washington, D.C.

Randall Damon, solutions engineer. Randall is responsible for providing pre and post sales technical support for very large backup environments in the Federal market. Before coming to Sepaton, Randall served on technical sales teams for several large private-sector companies and DOD agencies, including Bank of America, Symantec, The World Bank and the United States Air Force. Randall is based in the Washington, D.C. area.
