PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Kapow Software, a leading innovator in the market for big data solutions, today announced the appointment of Karl Ederle as its new chief product officer. Ederle has more than 20 years of executive experience steering product strategy at software market leaders such as Oracle, Taleo, SAP and PeopleSoft. He most recently served as vice president of strategy and innovation of talent management solutions at Oracle, which acquired Taleo Corporation in April 2012. Ederle will oversee Kapow Software's strategy and products, with a particular focus on introducing an expanded set of big data and other cloud-based offerings to satisfy current enterprise customer needs and address new market opportunities.
"Karl is a highly valued addition to Kapow's leadership team," said John Yapaola, CEO of Kapow Software. "As 2013 fast approaches, big data will continue to grow in size and complexity.
