BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Dec. 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SuccessEHS, a leading health information technology vendor, today announced that ARcare, a community health center (CHC) providing quality affordable care to residents of Kentucky and Arkansas, has selected the company as a health IT partner. ARcare will initially deploy the SuccessEHS 6.1 EHR and practice management solution in 45 locations and will take advantage of select integrated medical billing services from SuccessEHS.
ARcare will transition to the SuccessEHS solution from another EHR system. SuccessEHS's excellent track record, patient centered EHR and local, U.S.-based development and support factored into ARcare's decision to move forward with EHR replacement. As a patient centered EHR, the SuccessEHS solution has strong structured data capture, reporting and health information exchange capabilities, all of which support quality of care. SuccessEHS's experience with Meaningful Use and patient centered medical home (PCMH) also factored into the decision. ARcare needed a system that would enable the organization to continue its participation in Meaningful Use and maintain its PCMH recognition, and the SuccessEHS solution's certifications and history of success with these programs made it a perfect fit.
"With the ever changing landscape of today's healthcare, it was imperative that we continue our efforts to create a business case for our electronic records systems," said Steven Collier, MD, CEO at ARcare. "Our challenge to SuccessEHS was to prove that a business case truly exists for change. The team at SuccessEHS proved their mettle and ARcare is proud to have them as a true business partner."
"ARcare benefits communities across Kentucky and Arkansas by providing quality affordable medical and dental care, and we are proud to have been chosen as their health IT partner," said Dante Rankart, Vice President of Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and CHC Sales at SuccessEHS. "We look forward to partnering with ARcare to help them improve care, increase revenue and make efficient use of health IT."
