Welcome to SMAC News Weekly, featuring the latest news and numbers relating to SMAC (social, mobile, analytics and cloud) that I come across each week. Each of us is impacted by SMAC. We all use mobile devices and social networking solutions like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We use search engines, maps and weather apps, all of which use analytics and are in the cloud. SMAC is the combination of all of these trends coming together on mobile devices. This convergence is impacting businesses in many different ways.
