TORONTO, Jan. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Longview Solutions, a leading provider of corporate performance management (CPM) and tax reporting software, today announced that it is not affected by the Java flaw identified by the US Department of Homeland Security http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/625617.
"Keeping our customers and partners informed about issues or potential issues is a pillar of our success in the area of customer service," said John Power, President and CEO, Longview Solutions. "Though we don't use the Java plug-in in any of our software suites, we know it may be a concern for our customers and Longview solutions wanted to put their mind at ease."
The US government issued a security bulletin that recommended PC users disable Oracle's Java on their systems, because of several issues with the software that are making computers vulnerable to attack by hackers.
