MILPITAS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/05/13 -- FireEye®, Inc., the leader in stopping today's new breed of cyber attacks, announced today that Julie Cullivan has joined FireEye as chief information officer. Cullivan brings over 25 years of systems and programs experience in large enterprise high tech companies to FireEye. This appointment follows on the heels of other recent additions to the leadership team including the appointment of board chairman David DeWalt to the additional role of CEO.
Most recently Cullivan was vice president of global sales and marketing operations at Autodesk where she led the global rollout of new CRM, eLearning, and lead management systems, and evaluated new technologies and tools to improve productivity and optimize resources. Prior to Autodesk, Cullivan held executive roles at McAfee, EMC, Asera, and Oracle.
In her role as CIO at FireEye, Cullivan will be responsible for FireEye's information technology infrastructure and roadmap to ensure its capability and readiness to support the business needs.
"FireEye has pioneered a new model for protecting companies and government agencies from advanced cyber attacks that define today's threat landscape," said Cullivan. "FireEye is experiencing explosive growth and I look forward to driving the evolution of FireEye's IT infrastructure to advance the company's continued growth."
"Julie's 25 years of experience with large enterprise high tech companies will prove invaluable to FireEye as we enter the next phase of our business," said Dave DeWalt, FireEye chairman and CEO. "She is an established leader with a track record of developing and implementing new processes, programs, and systems and is a great addition to our leadership team."
