- The #1 Gamification Platform to host exclusive event for regional business leaders
LONDON and REDWOOD CITY, California, Feb. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Badgeville, the #1 gamification platform, today announced its first international Engage Roadshow in London, UK, to be held on February 27, 2013. The event will feature keynotes, panels and workshops by global business innovators sharing stories of how brands -- from large automakers to consumer packaged goods firms -- are using gamification to increase their key business objectives across their businesses.
"There are exciting opportunities for businesses today to increase results by interacting with their users via automated systems," said David Rowan, editor of WIRED's British edition, who will keynote the event. "The lessons from Badgeville's extensive work with a wide range of clients show how effective these technologies can be in tracking user behaviour across these digital properties, and then in rewarding that behaviour with today's best gamification programs."
Featured sessions include keynote presentations by Rowan and Maggie Buggie, VP of Digital Transformation, Capgemini Consulting, along with a special Fireside Chat with Karen Kemble-Diaz, COO of A&N Media's Wowcher. The additional panels and talks will highlight case studies of successful customer loyalty and employee engagement programs across retail, internet services, consumer goods, technology, and business practices innovation.
"Modern businesses must embrace digital transformation across all aspects of their business to thrive in the next decade and beyond," said Maggie Buggie, VP, Digital Transformation, Capgemini Consulting. "Gamification is, at its core, an actionable strategy which analyzes customer and employee behavior across your organization and then creates sophisticated programs to actually change this behavior to benefit the business. If executives are serious about building the Digital Advantage, they should investigate the ability of gamification to play an important role in their business case realisation."
A pre-event complimentary workshop for public attendees on Gamifying Your Business will be led by Stephen Sims, VP of Production, Badgeville, formerly Executive Producer at Electronic Arts. The workshop will provide business innovators an opportunity to explore the value gamification adds to the bottom line, focusing on increasing customer and employee behavior. A second pre-event workshop, The Technical Side of Gamification workshop by Paul Reeves, Senior Director of Support, Badgeville, will be available for customers only. Workshop spaces are limited.
"Working with hundreds of customers across the globe, my team has designed hundreds of use cases for gamification applicable to modern business problems," said Stephen Sims, VP of Production, Badgeville. "In this workshop, I look forward to sharing learnings of how businesses have increased their key business objectives by 20 percent or more using techniques from game design, modern loyalty programs, and social experiences."
Gartner Research predicts more than 70 percent of Global 2000 organisations will use gamification by 2015, and states that gamification is one of the top 10 trends in IT for 2013. Badgeville, the leading gamification platform, works with hundreds of businesses to help significantly increase value out of their existing enterprise software and marketing investments.
Tickets for the exclusive event are available to select senior business executives. For more information about Engage London, and to request a ticket, please email events@badgeville.com.
