USi to Speak at Oracle OpenWorld, Company Also to Exhibit

Hosted Oracle Solutions Allow USi Clients to Focus on Core Business Instead of Technology

ANNAPOLIS, Md., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- USi (http://www.usi.com/), the leading Application Service Provider (ASP) and a premier provider of Software- as-a-Service (SaaS), today announced that it will present a unique client case study at this year's Oracle(R) OpenWorld later this month to help Oracle users understand how they can streamline their business processes and drive greater value from their applications.

"USi has lots of experience managing and supporting Oracle Application environments. When combined with our implementation know-how we have many lessons we can share with the broader Oracle community," said USi's Larry Abramson, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing. "Oracle OpenWorld is a great forum to share these experiences and to give back to the community that has been so supportive to our company."

USi Senior Sales Consultant Kim Flannagan is scheduled to present, "New Oracle Sales with D&B Integration Resolves Duplicate Customer Data", describing how users can increase efficiency in their Oracle implementations by integrating with Dun and Bradstreet, a modular offering from Oracle. Flannagan will present a client case study where a D&B integration demonstrated over 50 percent of its customer master database were duplicate entries.

"Many organizations don't realize they have duplicate entries within their prospect and customer databases. By integrating D&B with your Oracle implementation, you are able to quickly find and delete duplicate contacts as well as prevent new duplicates from entering the database," said Flannagan. Flannagan presents on Wednesday, October 25 at 2:30 pm at the Nob Hill Marriott Hotel.

As a Certified Advantage Partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork and an authorized Oracle E-Business Suite Special Edition Reseller, USi has a strong history of implementation and support of hosted Oracle products. With 400 hosted and managed instances of enterprise applications in the Oracle family of applications, USi's vast experience allowed the company to develop a strong methodology for implementation and management of complex ERP systems. In addition to USi's comprehensive support model, the company provides its clients custom monitoring, which guarantees availability and performance.

USiOasis, the unique application monitoring system developed by USi, is available to clients via USi's client access portal, USiView. Providing insight into the application layer of clients' information technology systems, USiOasis monitors application use and behavior to ensure performance levels. The company will provide demos of the system at its Oracle OpenWorld booth, number 802, Moscone South.

"Enterprises rely on their Oracle applications to streamline and automate processes that help manage the needs of business, while they rely on USi to provide innovative, on-going support and tools that increase application efficiency and efficacy," said Rauline Ochs, group vice president of North America Alliances and Channels, Oracle. "Oracle OpenWorld attendees can learn from USi's experience, and we are pleased that they can share it with us."

Aside from its comprehensive set of information technology tools, USi has built a service-focused culture. As such, the company recently launched FlexAdvantage, an on-demand, flexible support model, which provides more effective cost control for support services of large-scale enterprise applications. The model was designed with more efficient use of clients' IT budgets in mind, and it includes several features such as on-demand access to USi's team of ERP experts and an interactive client portal to enhance the visibility and control of monthly IT budgets. To provide additional flexibility, with as little as 30 days' notice, FlexAdvantage clients can adjust support levels to meet their business needs, whether those needs are increasing or decreasing. FlexAdvantage is available immediately to Oracle clients.
