Former SAP and Oracle Director to Spearhead Kenshoo's EMEA Expansion

Rob Coyne tasked with helping digital marketing technology company capitalise on growing opportunity in Europe and beyond

London (October 31, 2013) - Rob Coyne, who has held senior positions at global software companies, SAP and Oracle, has been appointed Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Kenshoo (www.kenshoo.com), the global leader in premium digital marketing technology, with a remit to drive further expansion in the region.

Coyne, whose 25 years' of IT sector experience most recently includes positions as Director of Database & Technology and Business Analytics at SAP UK and Regional Sales Director at Oracle, joins at a time when Kenshoo is poised to increase its investment across EMEA.

"With search and social channels becoming more and more vital for companies looking to win and retain customers, the market for our technology is growing rapidly. To maximise this opportunity for our clients, Kenshoo is now entering the next phase of its development with a significant investment programme in EMEA, including a recruitment drive across sales, technical and support functions," explains Coyne.

"We're already seeing significant customer acquisition from our competitors in EMEA and we recently achieved our highest-ever monthly sales in the region. We know that for every pound customers spend on Kenshoo technology, they are achieving an eight-fold return on their investment. So the timing is perfect for us to push ahead and bring our innovative solutions to a broader audience."

Key hires are planned in Germany as the company wants to seize the opportunity to grow its presence in Europe's strongest economy as well as expand in central Europe and Scandinavia. The UK and France have been strong markets for Kenshoo and are seen as primary growth drivers that will receive additional focus.

"Kenshoo love to continually test the boundaries, delivering new products to meet the needs of digital marketers in the new age of performance marketing. We're targeting double digit growth in EMEA by continuing to innovate with our product and recruit and retain the best people. I'm proud to be a part of this team," said Coyne.

The Kenshoo platform is used by brands and agencies to optimise search marketing, social media, and online advertising. The company is backed by Sequoia Capital, Arts Alliance and Tenaya Capital.

"Kenshoo's core values are innovation, passion, and humility. Rob embodies our DNA and brings strong leadership and focus to our teams in EMEA. I'm confident he'll keep the bar high for client excellence and deliver results at Kenshoo," commented Ted Krantz, SVP Revenue for Kenshoo.
