Big Data & Oracle

dataBig Data has become a major concern for most IT companies and the challenge lies not only in the sheer volume of the data but also in the variety, complexity and velocity of the data.  Companies need to sort out the data to make intelligent business decisions and for the most part, the important data can be sorted out and organized. 

However, there is a wealth of information from other sources such as social media, emails and blogs which can churn out useful information if only it can be managed, manipulated and modified for usage accordingly.  Obviously, this kind of information cannot be handled easily and new technologies must take into account the fact that the volume will only grow and not decrease in future.

Oracle has taken all this into consideration and has brought out a range of products, which gives deep insight into how Big Data can be acquired, organized and analyzed effectively.  Oracle NoSQL Database and Oracle Database are the perfect tools to quickly acquire data from a variety of sources and in any format. 

To organize the data, one can make use of Oracle Big Data Appliance, Oracle Data Integrator and Oracle Big Data Connectors.  One cannot effectively analyze Big Data without the use of Oracle Advanced analytics, Data Warehousing, Exadata Database Machine and Exalytics In-memory Machine. Moreover, Oracle has been the first vendor to offer such a complete range of products which can addresses any issue related to Big Data.

Take for example the Oracle Data Integrator, which is not only faster but also very easy to use, being built with a simple interface.  It is capable of organizing and transforming bulk data to improve performance and with its simplicity of use, helps to reduce cost of integration across various types of systems.  Once all that data is organized, one needs to efficiently analyze that data in terms of modern conditions and specifications and that is where one can get real-time analytics with the help of Oracle Advanced analytics.  Taking everything into account, Oracle has all the answers when it comes to Big Data and the technology is evolving everyday to accommodate the fluctuations seen in data networking.
