Lacoon Opens New U.S. Headquarters and Expands Executive Team to Support Rapid Growth

Heather Howland Joins as Vice President of Marketing and Danny Oliveri Joins as Vice President of Sales

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/29/14 -- Lacoon Mobile Security, a leading provider of advanced mobile cyber security solutions, today announced it has officially opened its new headquarters in San Francisco, along with the executive appointment of Heather Howland as vice president of marketing and Danny Oliveri as vice president of sales, all in an effort to support the company's rapid growth. In addition, Lacoon intends to grow its overall workforce by 40 percent in 2014.

  • Originally founded in Israel, Lacoon has moved its headquarters to the US to support substantial expansion in North America. The office hosts the executive team, including Michael Shaulov, Lacoon co-founder and CEO, along with its growing sales, marketing and support team.

  • Heather Howland has over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology and corporate marketing. Before joining Lacoon, Howland led worldwide digital strategy for the IBM Security Division. Prior to IBM, she was Director of Marketing for Q1 Labs (acquired by IBM) where she led global marketing and go to market strategy. She has also held senior management positions at BlackBerry and Ascendent Systems.

  • Danny Oliveri joins Lacoon with over 15 years of experience as a senior sales executive, having led global sales efforts for both ClearStory Data and Silver Tail Systems (acquired By RSA/EMC). Additionally, Oliveri held sales management positions with both Oracle and Visionael.
