Crystal Tech Fund, Middle Bridge Partners, CIT Gap Funds, Middleland Capital, District Capital Partners and NextGen Angels; including Lawrence Black, Haroon Mokhtarzada, Michael Chasen, Steve and Melissa Ganz.

"Martin and his team know tech, they know their customers and they know how to build great companies," said Paul Singh. "nvite is on track to disrupt a huge market, and Crystal Tech Fund is a natural partner in that."

nvite is redesigning and reimagining the event space with an intuitively designed, socially connected, customizable and feature-rich event platform. nvite offers both a clean and beautiful end-to-end social event planning experience and a premium, fully integrated registration and ticketing solution.

Since launching its private beta in February 2014, the DC-area-based company has processed tens of thousands of registrations for events in more than 36 US cities and 16 countries internationally. The beta has hosted events from SXSW startup launch parties to large-scale conferences to a special screening of The White House Student Film Festival. The company has been generating revenue since its beta launch, has signed its first enterprise-level multi-million dollar contract for 2015 and plans to significantly ramp up partnerships with the addition of a Director of Sales.

nvite was founded by Twitter's first Design Manager and White House Presidential Innovation Fellow, Martin Ringlein, along with an all-star team of designers and engineers whose previous experience include developing platforms for Apple, Oracle, Google and Samsung. The team of seven is now headquartered in Crystal City, Virginia at Disruption Corporation. nvite's board of advisors includes John Bracken, founder of evite, as well as Alex Michael, previously VP of Business Development at TicketMaster.

The new capital will go toward making strategic hires, expanding into new markets and verticals, and continuing to develop the industry's most integrated and best-designed event platform.
