The new Oracle User Productivity Kit v3.5 and Oracle User Productivity Kit Professional v6.1 are now available to help organizations retain corporate knowledge and increase end user productivity of all enterprise applications, including non-Oracle applications. Companies rely on the product to help ensure user adoption of enterprise applications and address current workforce conditions - workforce fluctuation, travel restrictions, reduced training budgets, and ROI on enterprise application rollouts or upgrades.
Oracle UPK and Oracle UPK Professional create documentation, simulations and in-application performance support to aid in the success of enterprise applications. Combined with business process documentation tool Oracle Tutor, these products provide a foundation for end-user training and implementation, enabling accelerated user adoption and allowing organizations to be productive from day one.
The updated versions of Oracle User Productivity Kit and Oracle UPK Professional are the first since Oracle's acquisition of Global Knowledge Software.
Oracle UPK v3.5 and Oracle UPK Professional v6.1 are enhanced with key features, including:
- Customizable Document Output - Organizations can differentiate their printed documentation by customizing their outputs to maintain corporate branding standards and meet business needs.
- Automatic Context Capture - Previous versions of Oracle UPK captured context information during recording sessions for Oracle and SAP applications only, enabling context-sensitive help to reduce ongoing performance support costs. With the addition of the new SmartMatch feature, context information can now be captured for any IE browser application as well, enabling context-sensitive help for IE-based applications across the enterprise.
- Copy and Paste Frames - The ability to copy and paste frames allows users to re-use content across topics.
- Additional Language Support - Support for 21 languages.
- Customers who are current on maintenance can upgrade to the latest version at no additional charge.
